Thailand Cultural Center, Bangkok is situated on Ratchadaphisek Road. It is adjacent to the junction with Tiam Ruammitr Road, in Huai Kwang District.

Thailand Cultural Center in Bangkok was opened in 1987 to celebrate the 60th birth anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej.

Thailand Cultural Center is a huge theatre where in the main hall vast seating capacity has been made to accommodate 2000 people. This auditorium is well equipped to hold stage presentations, concerts and international conferences. The theatre also boasts of 'Social Education and Exhibition Building'. In this building a cultural library and the Thai Life Permanent Exhibition is hosted.

In the Thailand Cultural Center, Bangkok cultural performances by Thai and foreign artists are carried out. These performances are shown free to the public. However, to view these performances prior bookings for seats are necessary to make. Also, locating venue, time and duration for performances is very easy. In the Center newsletter all the details are maintained.

In Thailand Cultural Center, Bangkok two sections are made. One is Permanent Exhibition Hall. This section is open to Thais and foreigners. In this section history, culture and development of Thai people is displayed using advanced technology such as slide multi-vision.

Another section in the theatre is Youth Centre. It aims at promoting the creativity of children. In this section Thai classical dance and Thai music courses are arranged for children on Saturday, Sunday and in school holidays.
