Pak Khlong Market
Pak Khlong Market is a popular night market in Bangkok selling fresh flowers, fruits, vegetable and spices. It is situated where the Khlong Lord meets the Chao Phraya river just a few minutes away from the Memorial bridge.
The place is best visited from 1:00 a.m – 5:00 a.m when all the fresh flowers and vegetable are being delivered. During the night time from 20:00, all the roadside traders starts putting up their stalls as consumers starts walking by looking for different flowers such as jasmine, lotus and roses. The market is more attractive for wholesalers as hotels and corporates buy items in bulk.
Most of the flowers delivered to the market are delivered from other provinces such as Nakhorn Pathom and Samut Sakhorn and sold out to different parts of the country.
The market is also visited by other street vendors and big florist during the early morning to stock up their shops and stalls for the day.
