Taling Chan Floating Market
Situated in Bangkok Noi, on the western outskirts of Bangkok (just after Pinklao Bridge), this little weekend meeting place on the canals is a delight to visitors weary of the salesmen's tricks and scams. Taling Chan Floating Market lives on in true tradition. In a calm and serene atmosphere, a handful of vendors slide their boats along the along the banks offering the customer fruits, vegetables, food and dessert - at a local price for everyone alike.
The products sold on the water are consumed right there, at tables on one of the floating restaurants.
